A very special free concert will be presented by the Central Iowa Wind Ensemble. There will be plenty of audience participation, including opportunities for some of the youngsters to conduct the wind ensemble. Special guests will include KCCI’s Eric Hanson who will serve as narrator to the wind ensemble’s version of “Peter and the Wolf.” Audience members young and old alike will also enjoy a unicyclist, clowns, and jugglers during Karl King’s “Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite Circus March.” The music will be certain to leave smiles on the faces of all audience members. Part of the Central Iowa Wind Ensemble’s mission is to reach out to young audiences and the group is as excited as the audience is certain to be for the November 10 concert.
