Franklin Jr. High - Large Auditorium

4801 Franklin Ave

Des Moines, Iowa

FREE ADMISSION

Central Iowa Wind Ensemble performances are made possible by the generous support of our audience members. Please consider a donation.

People, places, and things are the at the center of each of the pieces performed by the Central Iowa Wind Ensemble. They were a central “spark” of inspiration in their creation. Be it the creative playfulness and loving nature of a child, the wise words of a teacher; there are people in our lives that help to push us towards living and fulfilling a greater purpose. There are places that we have visited that, once you arrive, are absolutely amazing and fill you with a sense of awe and wonder. And don’t forget those items in our lives that we use that takes us to “another place” and escape the here and now; a book, or maybe even a musical instrument that presents you with a welcome challenge.

Come and allow this inspired music to move you and appreciate the people, places, and things in your life that motivate you.
